RM and I saw Casino Royale. Both of us *really* enjoyed it. I felt like it had more of the spirit of the novels, which have a crueler, less campy feel than the movies. Though I've greatly enjoyed the camp of the films over the years, I felt like the franchise had become tired. This was a real reimagining of the character and of the Bond genre.
