Vegas is still cool. The Ultimate Fight was a lot of fun -- Paris Hilton was there, and when they put her up on the monitor and asked for her prediction, everyone booed her. In most cases this would make me feel bad for the boo-ee -- but it's *Paris Hilton*.
Then they asked Jason Statham for his prediction, and everyone cheered for him (including me, because I love Jason Statham, almost as much as I love Andrei Arlovski).
Tonight we went to see Carrot Top. This was my gift to RM (well, not literally -- he paid for the tickets, but I am not a big CT fan and he is, so my very presence at the show was a gift). It was actually a lot funnier that I expected, even if there were more jokes about rednecks and rappers than I really needed to hear. He closed the show by impersonating a series of rock stars -- that is, they'd play a portion of a song, and he'd put on a bandanna and be Axl Rose, or dance with a mike stand and be Steve Tyler. Most of his impressions were dead on -- he had their gestures and body language down pat, it was pretty impressive.
