Abigail Reynolds has a series of "Mount Fear" projects, in which she takes data on violent crimes within a given geographic area and converts them into a topo map (with peaks where the most crimes have occurred, valleys where the fewest). I don't know exactly why I am so enraptured by this, but I am.
