So, after a 20-minute break in which

Live Till I Die (???), Hercules, Mary Crawford I was never a Hercules fan, and I couldn't even tell you which character this vid focuses on (it's not Kevin Sorbo, that's all I know) but this was fun -- upbeat, the premise was clear, the clips and lyrics supported each other. [Someone who knows Hercules, tell me, was this Kevin Smith? If so, it would make a lot of sense and make this a very moving vid.]
Hallo Spaceboy (David Bowie & Brian Eno), 2001, Janis Cortese I've actually never *seen* "2001: A Space Odyssey," but I like David Bowie and Brian Eno, so I was all happy with the music. And no doubt I would've gotten more out of it if I knew the film, a bunch of stuff went completely over my head, but even what I got was good. And Keir Dullea? He's kinda hot. His career has been weird though, hasn't it?
My Immortal (Evanescence), SW prequels, Sian All the good things I said about the SW vid in the first half of the show? I meant them about this one. Of course it helps that this song, while not an all-time favorite, it a lot better than Bryan Adams.
The Soldiering Zed (The Decembrists), Sharpe, P.R. Zed Sean Bean! And a cool song! (I've never heard of The Decembrists, but they remind me a bit of Belle and Sebastian, which I really like.) Lots and lots of eye candy in this one, and funny juxtapositions of lyric and visual, and a very clearly delineated POV, and while the Sean Bean stuff is more goofy and fun, the soulful looks from [the other guy] are very, um, soulful. And in the third verse(? I think) there are a couple shots of Sean Bean doing goofy things with his tongue that are just mmmmmm. Almost Fraserish.
An Innocent Man (Billy Joel), Angel, Versaphile Lots and lots and lots of scenes of Wesley necking with Lilah. I could have really happily lived my entire life without seeing so much of Wesley necking with Lilah. Holy cow. Almost literally ad nauseam Wesley necking with Lilah. (It's like some scary compulsive thing, I keep typing 'Wesley necking with Lilah.')
Weeping Willow (Richard Ashcroft), I-Man, Sisabet For some reason I found this vid more compelling that the first half's I-Man vid. (And can I digress here and give props to the Escapade vid show folks for evenly distributing vids in the same fandom throughout the evening? There's nothing like a clump of four vids in the same fandom to put you to sleep.) I couldn't tell you why, technically, but there's lots of Vincent Ventresca angsting all over the screen, and it's a good song.
Forever Autumn (???), LotR, Sian My notes scribbled in the margin of the program say "blech folky." Needless to say, YMMV, and it's not like I hate all folk music, I quite like some folk music. But this was blech folky.
I Am the Highway (Audioslave), Jeremiah, Morgan Dawn Jeremiah is one of those fandoms that everytime I see a vid I think I really need to get into this fandom. And, in fact, the second and third eps of Jeremiah are sitting in a Netflix envelope on top of my television *right now* (not doing me any good, as I'm in a hotel room in California, trying hard to tune out Larry King interviewing the soon-to-be-ex husband of a woman who slept with her 14-year-old student). Oh, right, so the vid: I like Audioslave. I would've liked more Theo -- I mean, Malcolm Jamal Warner -- but this was pretty good as it stood.
Cain (???), Sleepy Hollow, Smutcutter My notes read: "dirgy." Didn't see the movie. Johnny's hot, but maybe not as much here as in PotC, or OUaTiM (heh, that would be Once Upon a Time in Mexico).
Would this be the time to confess that

So Damn Hot (OK GO), SV, Sandy & Rache This was great! Because the thing with this show is it's kinda dumb and it'll jerk you around, but Tom Welling is so damn hot. So that's the whole vid, is just Lex looking frustrated while Clark smolders all over the place. And then the chorus: "You don't love me at all, but don't think that it bothers me at all. You're a bad-hearted bpy-trap, babydoll, but you're ... you're so damn hot."
Zebra (John Butler Trio), DS, Shalott The DS vid in the first half of the show was F/V, so I had my fingers crossed this one would be F/K, and I was half right -- there's not a lot of Fraser in this vid, it's all about Ray K, in all his hyperactive, contradictory glory. The clips cleverly complement the lyrics, and at the start of the vid they're mostly from early season 3 eps -- BDtH, Asylum -- progressing with the show through MotB and finally CotW. And I love this song -- I'd never heard of the John Butler Trio, but I'm heading to iTunes to get it.
If I Didn't Have You (Monsters Inc), LotR, Melina Heh. It's that sappy, slashy song with John Goodman and Billy Crystal, only here it's put together with clips of Legolas (Sully) and Gimli (Mike). Silly, but funny.
