According to Lisa de Moraes in the Washington Post, "WB ordered a 10th season of [7th Heaven], making it the longest running "family" drama in TV history, the network says. The show bested "The Waltons" and "Little House on the Prairie," each of which ran nine consecutive seasons."
I'll admit I've watched the occasional episode of 7th Heaven, and it's not like I thought Little House was Shakespeare or anything, but this is just *wrong*.
