The end of the world is nigh: I have been sucked in by the Ultimate Fighter competition. There was some fight among a trio of jerky guys, and one of'em got upset and cried and slept in the woods and the other guys thought it would be hilarious to spray him with a hose while he slept, and he woke up and got mad and punched a couple doors, and there was all kinds of drama about what would happen? and who would get kicked off? plus avery intense discussion involving the two coaches and the guys who run the league. And I was HOOKED. I yelled at the TV and jumped out of my chair and stayed up WAY past my bedtime to see what the verdict would be.
On a more serious note, I was thinking this evening about how much unhappy stuff is going on among people I know -- people dealing with depression, and losing battles with ill health, and mourning loved ones. My own life is actually pretty wonderful (and I am grateful for that), but among my wider circle of friends and acquaintances and coworkers, there's sucky stuff going on, and that is something I hope will change for the better, and soon.
