Nov. 12th, 2006 09:48 pmI was *seriously* tempted to pull an all-nighter and watch the Star Wars marathon, but sleep won out. I did catch episode IV on TV this morning. I really like watching it and calling out spoilers (which I am going to go ahead and post without a cut, because I refuse to cater to anyone who hasn't seen those movies yet).
Like for example, when Luke starts tinkering with R2-D2 and first sees the hologram of Leia, I like to yell out, "Luke, you pervert, that's your sister!" Or when Obi-Wan says something about knowing Luke's father way back when, I might say, "And look how well *that* turned out!" Needless to say, RoboMark *loves* watching the Star Wars movies with me. Um, *not*.
We just watched most of a Tommy Lee Jones movie, Man of the House, about a Texas Ranger who has to guard a houseful of government witnesses/cheerleaders. You might think from that description that it would be a terrible movie, and I think with anyone else in the lead role it would be, but it's Tommy Lee Jones, and he can make ANYTHING good.
