Jan. 23rd, 2006 01:12 pmSo I was a Good Girl and changed my LJ password, and now every other time I log in I FORGET and type the old one (grumble grumble).
But! RM and I saw Underworld II on Friday! (shut up! We *liked* the first movie.) We both liked the sequel a lot, too -- there were some cheezy moments, sure, but also some nice action scenes, and it all held together pretty well, and I liked all the performances. At first I felt like Scott Speedman was striking the wrong notes -- he's kinda surfer-guy, while everyone else is all goth -- but then I realized he's the only character who's actually contemporary, the others all were born hundreds of years ago and lived unnaturally long lives. So actually, that was just good characterization!
Also, there were several very enthusiastic people in the theater who whooped and clapped at all the revelations and dramatic deaths, and that always adds significantly to my enjoyment of a movie.
