Apr. 17th, 2005 08:46 pmI haven't posted since Tuesday, but now that I'm back at work there does not seem to be as much to post about. I've never had much in the way of allergies, but whatever plants are reproducing now are causing crazy reactions in my sinuses, so I've spent the past couple days in a haze of chlortrimeton. Thursday night I had a mild panic attack about my responsiblities for con.txt, but
smaragdgrun talked me in off the ledge. Watched The Fugitive on TNT, and I think I must not have known about slash when I saw it the first time, because now? The ending with Kimble and Gerard in the car seems So Very Slashy. But I am having a hard time finding the fic. :(
Also, I was very amused to learn that they are making a movie of the game Doom, which will star The Rock and Karl Urban.
Playes the Star Wars game of Life this afternoon (really! It's like Life, except without the little cars with the pink and blue pegs in them). Sadly, the take home lessons of the game are 1) the rich get richer and the poor get poorer (i.e. you need to get little skill cards, and once you get them you get rewarded with more of them, but if you don't have enough you get penalized) and 2) it's *much* easier to win if you go over to the Dark Side of the Force. [shakes head] It's wrong, just wrong.
