molly_oAt 11:55 or so I turned on the TV and corralled the Baby Girl in front of it. She would have preferred to roam, but I was having none of it: "You won't remember this, but I will tell you about it when you get older, that you were here and saw this happen, saw this man become president."
She quieted down during Simple Gifts -- which is good, because I was transfixed by the expressions that moved across Yo Yo Ma's face as he played -- and made it through the swearing in, but fell asleep as we listened to Obama's speech.
