Is there **NOTHING** going on in the world more important than Martha Stewart's release? Really, it's on, like, EVERY channel.
California has been beautiful; we drove up the coast from LA to SF, stopping for a night at the Madonna Inn (www.madonnainn.com), an insanely kitschy place. Yesterday we wandered around the Haight with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
galexiegirl and the adorable Wolfgang; today we visited the Presidio and drove up to Sonoma to have dinner with CGU's uncle. This is definitely a region we could live in (in all likelihood, we'll never leave DC, but I like to have a backup list).
Also, I am *loving* wireless Internet. We don't have it at home, but it's ubiquitous in SF. Technically the hotel charges $4.95 a day, but I've had pretty good luck picking up service floating around nearby. I didn't realize what a pain the wires were until I could forgo them.
